Winterton-on-sea Parish Church

Winterton-On-Sea Parish Church is a magnificent building, with one of the tallest church towers in Norfolk, rising to over 130 feet.

Elements of the church date from the 13th century, with the tower being built around 200 years later. The church was restored in the late 1800's and is a treasured and much loved building in the village.

There is regular worship and the church welcomes visitors to any of its services or for just quiet reflection throughout the day.

Visitors are reminded of Winterton-On-Seas heritage by The Fisherman’s Corner, where relics and memorabilia can be found, together with memorials to those lost at sea.

The church is well used by the village with the local primary school paying regular visits to perform at Christian festivals.

Mass is held on Fridays and Sundays at 9am.

The Church tower is open on Saturdays from 14:00 to 16:00 weather permitting
